More than 70% of the students are from 25 to 35 years of age.
A class has 8 students at most. The classes are small with 5-6 students on average.
This course is intended for people older than 16 years old. For people younger than 16 years of age, please consider private lessons.
There are 2 teachers for each class, one a day.
All the teachers are professionals who have received training in teaching Japanese.
Yes. There are teachers who speak English and other languages.
All the lessons are conducted in Japanese. In general, vehicular languages such as English will not be used. The teachers are trained in this so please do not worry.
Before school entry you can take a trial lesson in a class at your level. Please make an appointment for a level check test first. For people who have never studied Japanese, please participate in the demo lesson which takes place every three months.
You cannot transfer to another class. The fee of the lesson you missed cannot be carried over. Please consult with the staffs when you pay for the lessons when you know you will miss some lessons.
Minna no Nihong 1 or 2 are used in the evening course. We will introduce them to you at the level check time.
When there is a class that suits your level, you can enroll at anytime. For students who have never studied Japanese, please enroll in January, April, July or October.
Evening courses are held twice per week. If you wish to study only once a week, please consider private lessons.
There are preparation courses for JLPT level 1 and level 2. As for level 3 and level 4, the exam coverage is studied in the regular lessons and we do not have special preparation course for them.
It is from 19:00 to 20:30.
For students who never studied Japanese before, you can expect to improve your skills to "Japanese Language Proficiency Test" level 4 after studying for 2 terms (6 months) in this course.
We ask students who have experience in studying Japanese to take a level check test, so please make a reservation by phone or e-mail. For students who have never studied Japanese, please enroll at the beginning of each course; January, April, July, or October. At the time of enrollment, please submit the application form with two photos. Please also pay your lesson fees for the whole term before the first lesson with cash or by bank transfer.
For students who have studied Japanese before, you can start anytime as long as we have a suitable class for your Japanese level. For students who have never studied Japanese, please apply when a new course starts in January, April, July, or October.
If there is a course that suits your level, you can join a class in the middle of a term.
Textbook fees are not included in the lesson fee. Textbooks that are used in the lessons have to be purchased separately.
We do not accept credit card. Please pay with cash or by bank transfer.
