Full-time Course / Group Lesson / Private Lesson
You can join the course anytime. Please complete the enrolment before you start the course.
Summer/Winter Intensive Course
Please apply by one month before the course starts. Application will be closed when all the places are filled. Please check the vacancy before you apply for the course.

When do I have to pay the lesson fee?

Please pay the fee before the course starts.

Can I pay by a credit card?

We do not accept credit cards. Please make a payment either in cash or by bank transfer.

Can I carry over the lesson if I miss one?

It differs depending on the course.

Full-time Course / Group Lessons
You can take a lesson only in your class and the lesson cannot be carried over even if you miss one.
Private Lesson
In order to cancel a private lesson, you must call us before 5:00 pm one working day in advance (excluding holidays). [For example, call before 5:00pm on Ｓａｔｕｒｄａｙ to cancel a Monday lesson.] When you cancel a lesson later than that, we will count you present and the lesson will not be carried over.

How many levels are there?

There are different levels from basic to advanced. You will take a level-check test before you start a course and study in a suitable class for you. The class schedules of each school are set differently according to the term. Please contact each branch of ARC Academy for further information.

How many students are in each class?

The number of the students differs depending on the course.

Full-time Course
You can take a lesson only in your class and the lesson cannot be carried over even if you miss one.
Private Lesson
It is possible to cancel or carry over a lesson by letting us know in advance according to the rule. When a cancellation is made after the fixed time, the day is counted as a lesson day and the lesson cannot be carried over.

Where do the students come from?

We have students from all over the world.

Full-time Course
The students’ nationality varies, such as Korea, China, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia and other Asian countries, and we also have students from Europe, America and Australia.
Group Lesson
The majority of the students in the evening classes are business people from Europe/America.

What time will I study from?

The time depends on the course.

Full-time Course
Morning Class	9:00 - 12:15
Afternoon Class	13:30 - 16:45
Group Lesson
Evening Class	19:00 - 20:30 (Shinjuku, Yokohama)

Who are the teachers?

All our teachers are professional who have taken a course in teaching Japanese as a foreign language.

What textbooks will I use?

You will use textbooks that suit your level. We will show you the textbooks after a level-check test.

There are some excursions in Full-time courses and Intensive courses.
